Method 1: Set directly from the menu
1. Open File Explorer
2. Select the View tab as shown below.
3. Click the "File name extensions" check box to show file extensions.
Method 2: Set from File Explorer Options
1. Open the File Explorer Options
2. Select the View tab
3. Select or deselect the "Hide extensions for known file types" checkbox
